Ref: We have talked about Samsung SCH-I920 (Omnia II) many times, but now this is the first time we get a clear sense what is it.Samsung Mobile USA has just affirmed that Verizon Wireless will issue the Omnia II in October .Other resources state that the Omnia II will be avaiable in weeks, but it seems the verzion would launch this after 6th Oct, the big launch days of windows mobile 6.5 based smart phones.
We know that the Samsung SCH-I920 (Omnia II) has EV-DO connectivity ,Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. According to Samsung USA’s Website, the phone will change the way you text and email, which makes that faster and more exact. it is a similar CDMA version of the European Omina II I8000 to some degree.

Thank you for writing Lowell McAdam, President and Chief Executive Officer of Verizon Wireless. Mr. McAdam has asked me to respond to you on his behalf.
Normally, Verizon Wireless does not announce the release of a device to the public until it has been tested and approved for use on our network. I am told that the device is being tested and awaiting approval for the release but will probably not come to market until sometime early in 2010.
As for your inability to get this information from our Customer Service Department, normally these representatives to do know about devices that are in testing or plans to offer new devices until the formal release information is provided to them. This way, we can set our customers expectations accordingly. The release of this information normally does not occur until a release date is determined and training is offered.
Thanks for your interest in the Omnia 2. I hope that this information is helpful to you and that you can defer making your purchase until the Omnia 2 is released.
