Q: How does a user set up a contact group?

A: To set up a contact group:

Go to Menu > Contacts > Group.

  • Select the type of group to set up: General, Family, Friends, Colleagues, or Business. New can also be selected in order to set up a customized group.
  • To set up a customized group, slide open the QWERTY keyboard and enter the name of the new group, and press Save.
  • The new group name will now appear in the list. Highlight the group name from the list and press the Options soft key.
  • Select Add.
  • The screen will display a list of contact names. Use the Navigation key to highlight the contacts to be included in the new group. Press the Mark soft key to place a checkmark in the box beside the selected names.
  • Press Done when finished.

    • The contacts are now added to the new group.

    Q: How to  Quick Text messages to add to the template list?
    A: From the Messages menu, select Create Message > Text Message. Add recipients and press OK. The text message screen will appear.

    Press the Options soft key and then Add Quick Text > New. Enter text for the new Quick Text and press OK. The new message will then appear in the Quick Text list.

    Q: How to the same picture or text message to multiple people simultaneously, without having to set up a Contact Group?
    A: Select Menu > Messages > Create Message, and then choose Text or Picture Message. The phone provides 10 spaces to input contact names and/or phone numbers. When the fields are completed, type the message and press Send.
