How Do I Send Pictures From My SGH-A877 (Impression) Phone?

To send a multimedia message, to anyone with a compatible device, follow the steps below:

  1. While in standby mode, press Menu
  2. Press Messaging
  3. Press Create Message
  • Tap on the display or rotate to the left, then enter the Message text, using the keypad or QWERTY keyboard
  • Press OK
  • Press Insert
  • Press Picture
  • Press the desired picture to enlarge it
  • Press the check box to add the picture to the Message
  • Press “Tap to Add Recipient”
  • Select the recipient type from the following:
    • Enter Manually
      • Enter the phone number or E-Mail address, using the keypad or QWERTY keyboard then press OK
  • Contacts
    • Press each Contact  to check their box
    • After selecting all recipients, press Add
  • Recent Contacts
    • Press each Contact or phone number to check their box
    • After selecting all Recent Call recipients, press Add
  • Group
    • Press the Group to send to all Group members
  • Press Send to send the multimedia Message to the Recipient(s)
  • Tip: You can send a multimedia Message to up to 10 Recipients. Enter additional recipients by separating each entry with a semicolon (;) then using the previous procedure.

    Note: The SGH-A877 (Impression) handset includes support for Digital Rights Management (DRM) which allows you to view and/or play some purchased or subscription content. These copyright protections may prevent some images, videos, music (including ringtones) and other content from being copied, modified, transferred or forwarded.
